Reserves (Currency)

The Acting galactic currency Reserves, or Rev's (Zev's) are what is weighed for you to barter for goods and services.
This is given through controlled channels, with parties designating what an object, material, service or concept is worth in credit. To were it is saved to an online account to be used immediately when needed.
If some reason a digital connection can not be made, a financial script will be engraved on an Agol crystal based the value of object which will be honored at your next station. This is usually done between star systems
There are several tiers to the currency
R1 Deals with currency based around a planets local economy, holding an emblem of the Planet or Station with it's name under it.
R2 Deals with a Star Systems Economy, holding an emblem of the systems star(s) type and name of the system under it.
R3 Which is currently in practice in a limited capacity on the Zenith is a Galactic Currency, holding the emblem of the Zenith surrounded by Void 8 Gates.
The tiers also are strict in there pricing as R3 will qualify for R2 and R1 good and services at appropriate conversions rates You can not take R1 to R2 or R3 and R2 to R3 which out suffering a lost in value.
Though it keeps the economy across the stars stable,as well granting the ability to buy, sell and trade any time or place. It doesn't give the highest incentive to travel beyond your own world or home station, many focus on building Reserves so to make there life as comfortable as possible and wouldn't risk it on another world let alone another system.
While on the side of the banks, they hold all financial power over business's and individuals, who put all there card in one basket.

The use of Reserves were the brain child of Revi Servitor, in the attempt to keep the economy of humanity stable before major divergence between exo planets and extra solar colonies during the intial start of the Mercantile Collective of Worlds .
