Amarithian/Drevarian War of 1533
The Conflict
Prelude
In 1533, during the reign of Tristian Amarith, a large banquet was held in Amarith. Attending this banquet were many lords from neighboring countries, including Queen Kataeli Kerderrien and her daughter, Princess Nilela Kerderrien from the Queendom of Drevaria. During the banquet, Nilela unexpectedly proposed to marry Prince Acelin Amarith. Before Tristian could respond, Selova, Acelin's sister, struck Nilela across the face, with enough force to leave a large bruise. The Kerderriens, outraged, stormed out of the banquet and headed back to Drevaria.
Deployment
As soon as they got back to Drevaria, Kataeli declared war on the Kingdom of Amarith. Not much happened other than a few minor skirmishes until 1534, when Drevaria captured Cirrane. A while afterwards, Drevaria besieged the city of Eleswell. This time they were repelled, and their general, Alara Drezen, was killed.
Aftermath
The Kingdom of Amarith lost the city of Cirrane. The Queendom of Drevaria lost their general, Alara.
