Siege of Eleswell

The Drevarian general, Alara, hired a mercenary to go in to the city and poison the garrison. This mercenary was successful, and most of the city's garrison was killed. Most people in Amarith assumed that the city was lost, but the citizens took armor from the dead soldiers and, along with the remnants of the garrison, managed to barely keep the city out of Drevarian hands until the Amarithian army arrived.
