Facial characteristics
Their hobgoblin ancestry is obvious; their nose is very hobgoblin-like in its shape, like a cat's nose. Their noses run the gamut of hobgoblin nose color; reds, blues, pinks, and pale blues. Their eyes are humanoid, however.

The highest concentration of Half-Hobgoblins is within Boartongue, but they live throughout all of the Federation and Obril.

History
The Half-Hobgoblins, also known as Half-Hobs, or Gaba as they call themselves if they're from Boartongue, are a proud people. While some Half-Hobs exist in Obril, they're not very common. They're much more common in the Federation, where humans and hobgoblins have had a chance to marry and have children together as equals. Their culture has emerged after abolitionist hobgoblins escaped with liberated human, lizardfolk, goblin and Dragonborn slaves. The only race that could have children with hobgoblins, besides others of their kind obviously, were humans. Most half-Hobs come from families descended from such unions. Half-Hobs and Gaba both draw from Hobgoblin traditions of saving face and not showing weakness; some Gaba view weakness as a chance that they might be once again enslaved or killed by the Obrili imperialist menace. Thus, they make sure that they always work their hardest to be strong and ready. A Gaba can grit her teeth and get the work done, even if it hurts in the short term. The Half-Hobs have physical traits from both their ancestral races.
