This is a section covering all of the homebrew additions made to the setting, which operates off of PTU 1.05 rules. Major rulings are first, followed by smaller additions to the system further below:
Every member of the party gains Trainer Experience when someone catches a Pokemon. This does not apply when a Pokemon evolves.
HP is no longer factored into Base Stat Relation; it does not need to remain below other Stats, and other Stats do not need to remain below it.
Pokemon gain +1 to their Move Limit at Trainer Level 10, a further +1 at Trainer Level 30, and a final +1 at Trainer Level 50.
Zamzara is a much more dangerous place than the average Pokemon world, and self-defense teachings are commonplace. You only need Untrained Combat to use Adept Weapon Moves, although one still needs Master Combat in order to use Master Weapon Moves.
All Weapon Moves used with Melee Weapons can be attempted as a Coup de Grâce against targets unaware of the user's presence. This also applies to Melee Moves.
For every 2 meters you throw/shoot something beyond your normal range, the AC increases by 1. This penalty can be negated by passing an Athletics or Focus check with X DC, where X equals the AC increase times 4. For example, if your normal range is 1-4 and you try to shoot something 12 meters away with an AC 4 attack, the difference would be 8 meters and the AC would go from 4 to 8, but could be brought back down to 4 by passing an Athletics/Focus 16 DC.
Critical and Effect Ranges may not exceed +9 under any circumstances. Critting on an 11+ is plenty.
For every meter you long/high jump beyond your normal range, the DC increases by 4/8.
When helping another PC or Pokemon, the helper adds half their Rank number to the roll.
Paintings sell for, on average, $50 per DC rolled when making the painting and take a day to complete. Usually Focus is used to make the check, but others can be used.
