Zamzara
A Wanderer's World
"The name Zamzara was given to the arena that humans walked in the days of dawn. Whilst the children of humanity spilled each others' blood on the sand, grass, and rock of the earth, mystics sequestered themselves to divine the truth of what was around them so that they could divine their own places in it in a search for meaning. This hunger for meaning was recognized as holy and noble, a divine quest even before divinity was known. This pursuit of worldly truth was called Zamzar, and its pursuers became known as Zamzarans. As Man separated himself from Beast, he came to realize that his sacred quest was what marked him aside from the animal, and slowly, as all humans became Zamzarans, the world they were born in became Zamzara."

Geography
Zamzara is a diverse and volatile land, a giant island engulfed by a violent ocean, as endless as the lands beneath the earth and the skies of the heavens. Here is a land with rolling, verdant grasslands wedged between glorious spires of mountain and stretches of desert, dotted with forests, jungle, bogs, and tundras. The oppression of the sun above renders much of the continent a hot and stifling climate, with only the northern and southern edges escaping the brunt of the heat. However, since The Kalyugi, hosts of monsters have begun to roam the lands, physically and magically shaping it to their whims and needs - marring the natural beauty of this once thriving and prosperous continent.
Fauna & Flora
300 years ago, before The Kalyugi changed everything, Zamzara was a land filled with mundane creatures and plants. Humanity had fully realized its role as the rightful masters of the ecosystem, and life was good for everyone. Fatefully, this would change with the arrival of the monsters, and all life as it was ever known was eternally changed by their power and ferocity - nothing was spared by the invasive species pouring out from the world below.
Humans were one of the lucky few to not be completely eradicated by the monsters. Even the plant life was subsumed by walking, sentient plant beings that were just as violent as everything else. In their need to combat and contain them, people delved into the new fields of mysticism and magery, unleashing arcane power in an arms race for survival - unknowing or uncaring of the ecological consequences of their actions. The Zamzara of today would be completely unrecognizable to a citizen of the Empire at the peak of its strength.
Natural Resources
Zamzara is host to many different biomes and climates, and it contains nearly kind of exploitable resource necessary for society to function. Despite this diversity, the vast majority of the people of Zamzara rely on three staples to survive: farm-grown rice, monster meat, and whatever else can be scrounged up nearby. Zamzara's most unique resource is extremely rare on the surface: Apricorns. This strange fruit is native to The Nashya, and its origins are unknown, but its magical properties are highly sought after due to its incredibly flexible nature. They can usually be found in places that are difficult to reach, almost guaranteed to be swarming with monsters.
