Elves

When Sylvari traveled from the magick-rich realm of The Feywilds to the mortal planet of Xelestar in The Galatean Exodus , they severed their connection to the infinite arcane energies of The Wilds and were forced to search for alternative energy sources to satisfy what would become an apparent, biological addiction to Magick present in all Elves. Additionally, as Elves themself are born with an innate mastery over at least the simpler points of Arcane Magick, it is not uncommon for elves to choose partners that would be otherwise forbidden to more mortal races. This leads to extremely varied genetic diversity among people of Elven descent such as the existence of Djinnari or the partially-draconic-partially-celestial family or Corelli Shireshelli.   Moon Elves/Elvari : Most Elves, too proud to worship Xelestarian Gods, began to devote themselves to near constant rituals of communion with their sacred vessel that now served as Xelestar's Moon, Galathea while others worshipped the vessel's former power source, the entity Synor . These Elves would eventually become the "Moon Elves" or "Elvari", literally meaning "Dusk Ruler" in Elvish. The current presiding King of Elvenkind is King Ioji Hyoga , an Elvari.     Sun Elves/Drakari :Elves who sought to distance themselves from Oberon following The Campaign of Roses , conducted a series of rituals known as The Dragon-Sear to become the Drakari . Some Sun Elf Families to this day owe their ancestry directly to dragons who adopted elven forms throughout their life such as Valihran Shireshelli.     Tieflings: Those who refused to stop at simply becoming Drakari participated in the Dragon-Sear until the Draconic Magic flowing through them began to overtake their Fey Ancestry and they began to grow horns, tails, an even stronger affinity for fire magick, and vibrant multicolored skin.   Dark Elves/Noctari : When The Dark Star fell to Xelestar, Elves living in the surrounded area conducted prolonged study of the artifact and were gradually transformed into the Noctari, or Dark Elves.     Sanguinari: Sanguinari are the descendants of Elves and Non-Elves who have a specific affinity for blood magick as a result. Sanguinari is most specifically used for the children of humans and full-blooded elves, though this rule is not explicit.   Astrari, or "Star Elves"
