Arcane Magick

For centuries following Xelestar's creation, magick was something solely reserved for the Gods and their most devout worshippers. However, when Abnur Arkannon accidentally stumbled upon a magickal stone sent forward from Titania of The Feywilds , he discovered the means for mortals to manipulate the forces of magick without them being bestowed spellcasting by a gracious deity. For this reason, we call this style of magick (meaning magick from a source other than divinity) "Arcane" magick, named for Abnur Arkannon. To this day, magick that can be manipulated or cast forth by mortalkind is called Arcane Magick while magick that can only be utilized by the Gods is referred to as Divine Magick .
The various forms of Arcane Magick have been categorized into eight schools of study that loosely correlate to the spectrum of colors that magick can take when utilized in it's primal "divine" forms.
