The Dark Star

In some time between 100 and 300 years BGE, a comet composed entirely of coagulated Black Magick  fell to the center Boreal's lands from seemingly nowhere. As it fell upon an area of predominantly Elvari settlers (whom were still newly immigrated to Xelestar by classically Sylvari standards), the artifact became exposes to nearly constant study to understand it's magickal function and original whereabouts. As a result of this prolonged exposure to the rock, the Elves who sexperimented upon it throughout the unending nights that it now forced upon the sky began to metamorphosize. Their ears extended to become several feet long and their skin began to transform to shades of blue, grey, purple, pink, and in some cases even onyx black. This was the event that created  The Noctari people, who now live in the predominantly Dark Elf habitated country of @Velkora. The Dark Star continues to reside at the core of their capital city, Shatterstar. Some Noctari saw the Dark Star's falling as a possibility for evolution such as the transformation that occurred in Tieflingpeople during The Dragon-Sear, however the dark star did not have as metered a grasp on its power as The Dragonsof The Astral Sea and these beings who refused to stop their communions with the Star after becoming Noctari were twisted and corrupted into Xelestar's first Vampires as the world at this time was not aware of the existence nor severity of the effects of Void Hunger.
