The Antiquities Session 25: We are where? Tinika? Arnold? Where are You!

General Summary

On the last day in Rhineforrel, Leront asked Luther, Heidi, Arnold, and Sir Parendor to help acquire a chest for preserving goods. The group knew this chest is in the royal kitchen. Luther’s female friend works in this kitchen, so he helped introduce the party to the head chef. They talked with the head chef of the royal kitchen. The party started negotiation back and forth with the chef. Arnold decided to be persuasive with his muscles. Just like a true himbo. The head chef agreed on a price but said you need to find a way to transport it. That is when Leront walked up to it and touched it as Telu absorbed the chest of preserving within himself.
On the last night, the party heard calls for help. They woke up and investigated. The calls for help came from the Orb they just procured from Allie Fizzpebble. Nak was interested in this and started to fiddle with it. He got pulled into the Orb and transported to a room that represented a teleportation circle. The party had Tinika attempt to learn how to work the device. She activated a portal to the very room that Nak got transported. However, Nak was able to open a sealed door with a guiding bolt. So, he started to traverse further down a corridor. Arnold jumped in the portal and started running down the hall. The party heard footsteps coming from deeper within the building. These footsteps were heading their way. They tried to stealth, but Arnold came face to face with Phone, the Headmistress of Thorn'Adan. She advised them that door has remained sealed since the Academy of Thorn'Adan closed. The party heard a buzzing noise and noticed that the portal was starting to close. The party was able to get through the portal before it closed.
They arrived back at their chamber in Rhineforrel. They quickly gathered their belongings and started to set out towards the Eternal Forge Clan. While traveling, they found a path that was well-traveled by Grung previously. This path ended up cutting off a lot of time on their travels. They traveled two half-day stints with no instance of conflict. At the end of their first day, they set up a watch with Heidi's Galder's Tower. The party broke into three different watch parties. Leront and Heidi both noticed the steam vents of the Eternal Forge. Heidi also observed with a telescope the flying Isle of Orvanos. Nak spotted the Grung village along with two hydra heads that appeared to be severed off. Also, on Nak's watch, he noticed an Orc spirit. This spirit was hanging out in the spirit world investigating the party. When Nak talked to Orc spirit said he was waiting for the one with the canon from the heavens. Nak continued to talk to the Orc spirit for a little bit, then let him pass through the spirit world to do what he needed to do.
The next; watch was a little more exciting as Tinika and Arnold participating in this watch. They noticed a group descend off of a ship; and landed on the Isle of Ren. Arnold also convinced Tinika to open the Orb they received from Allie Fizzpebble in Rhineforrel that was calling for help. In doing so, Tinika was pulled into the Orb and was unable to escape. Arnold tried to fumble his way through and get Tinika back. He also got pulled into the Orb. The Orb then fell and rolled down the steps of the Galder's Tower. It landed at the feet of the group that was going to do the next watch. This event instantly woke all the rest of the party. Nak tried to call for help via the spirit realm. He ended up seeing the same Orc spirit that was recently talking to him about Heidi and canon from the heavens. Nak asked if there is any way that he could help with the Orb. The Orc said no, that is true Draconic magic, maybe Ren would know. Nak then asked could you go, ask Ren? The Orc spirit took off. After a while, Nak heard a guttural sound of Draconic coming from the shore. He headed to the beach, along with some of the other party members. They came face to face with the ancient turtle dragon Ren. They also noticed that part of the Isle of Ren is now at the north shore of Loch Ren.
