Shine
Shine is the loyal companion of Desily Treethistle. He lives with her and has since he left his parents' nest and Desily herself was quite young, making him now a mature creature. Like most Faerie Dragons, he is mischievious and curious, and prone to flights of fancy and doing exactly as he pleases. He is often out and about around Mythlight College of Magics and is a favorite with library regulars. He has even been known to carry messages for Desily.
Shine has a mate, Shimmer, and children of his own; there is an entire Rainbow of faerie dragons who reside in the library. Most of the others, however, are more than half-wild and roam around the library and the Mycom campus at will, sometimes attaching themselves to random students or staff and sometimes keeping to themselves. Shine and Shimmer are the only ones Desily would claim even a little bit domesticated, and the ones seen most often around her.

Physical Description
Identifying Characteristics
Shine is a pearlescent white color, with dark blue eyes that are almost black. He has short, knobbly horns and dragonfly-type wings much like Desily's. His hard bits (talons, horns, spine ridges, etc.) are a blue-black like his eyes.
