Sekhaim Centurion
Qualifications
A Centurion will have risen through the Sekhaim ranks and be a proven warrior and leader of men. They will typically have been at minimum, also a Captain and a Commander, and will usually have served as a General as well, though not always. First Captain and General-in-Residence are ranks that are unit-size-dependent, and not all will pass through them. A Centurion can also, though rarely, come up through the Guardian Sekhaim ranks, in which case they will have at minimum been a Guardianatus, and will typically then have been made a Warden and then shifted into the Soldier branch as a Commander. It is almost unheard of for a Warden to be appointed directly to a Centurion position without serving first as a Commander and possibly a General.
Appointment
The Prime Centurion appoints new Centurions as the need arises. Usually this is because a current Centurion dies or retires, but sometimes new positions are created as populations and temples shift. Sometimes, experiences Centurions will be moved into high-powered and stressful positions and new Centurions will be then appointed to take their place.
Responsibilities
Centurions are responsible for all tasks of commanding their Centuria - training, morale, discipline, advancements, assignments, etc. The weight of this task varies, by necesity, depending on the size of the Centurion's Centuria.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
A Centurion can be removed from their post/demoted by the Prime Centurion or a 2/3 vote of all of the country's Centurions. They can be nominally demoted, though, through reassignment, without taking their title.

Equates to
A Centurion leads a Centuria, or all of the Sekhaim in a particular unit, whether that be a country, a geographic area, a set of temples, or a single large temple. There is not a direct equivalent amongst other sects in the Senary, largely due to differences in organization but they would be loosely correlated to a Firstmother or Firstfather of the Neferim, a Revered Sister or Brother of the Meretim and Mosenim, or the leader of the Shadim in the same unit.
