Karston become King after his sister's accidental death, as she had no heirs of her body. His reign was marked by many important global events including the establishment of the Principality of Arion as well as the founding of the Kingdom of Ostar (which would eventually become The Brilliant Empire.
Karston was married twice; his first wife was Lisanne Dell, selected by his council before he could get his feet under himself as King due to her family's wealth and influence. They had one child, Elina Dell, who would be Karston's eventual heir. Lisanne's health was not good and she died the year after Elina was born. Karston remarried, this time for love, Margaret Dell. He and Margaret would have two children, twins Stephen Dell and Phoebe Dell.
