City Marshall

City Marshalls command all Guard units in a city in the The Brilliant Empire.

Qualifications

City Marshalls have usually served as the Optinus to another Marshall. Sometimes in a city that requires a particular touch, an experienced Decanus who has served in that city might be promoted.

Appointment

City Marshalls are appointed by the Imperial Commander of the Guard.

Accoutrements & Equipment

Generally, the Marshall wears the same uniform as their soldiers. On their dress uniform, the Marshall patch has seven gold stars and three black stars. This motif is repeated across the training fatigues and other gear - the seven gold and three black stars in a circle when possible; different variations of seven gold and three black stripes where it isn't.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

A Marshall can leave their position when they retire, are promoted, or are removed for bad conduct or failure to perform. The Imperial Commander of the Guard can remove them.
