Century

A Century is the main unit in the Imperial Army of The Brilliant Empire, and consists of ten Decades, or 100 soldiers.

Manpower

Each Century is 100 men, divided into 10 Decades.

Structure

A Century is commanded by a Centurian. Each of the Century's 10 Decades is commanded by a Decanus. A Century also has an Optinus, second in command, and a Tertanus, third in command.

Training

Training varies depending on the Century. Some may have infantry, some cavalry, some specialists, some a mix.

Logistics

Logistical Support

When a Century is on the move, one Decade is assigned to work on logistics for the entire group.

Upkeep

Upkeep for a hundred men is not always an easy task. When housing and keeping the Century in the same place is not feasible, they will be spread out and put a few Decades in a few different places.

Recruitment

Soldiers are assigned to a Decade, which is assigned to a Century. There is no shortage of military recruits because pay and benefits are good.
