Resunun

The Resunun (also called Resu, Nun, Inun, Resnun, etc...) was the first minted coin that was produced. Its creators were Bonsian engineers under the Employ of the King.

Manufacturing process

Production requires a thin circle of copper to be melted and refined, then placed atop of a smiths Coinage anvil. This anvil will bear the sigil of the Kingdom, with a small metal rod placed on the inverse. The rod would bear a similar sigil, though different in design enough to act as another form of validation. One quick smash from a large weighted hammer and the coin is considered "minted". The process takes some time but the engineers found ways to speed up the process.

Significance

The Resunun was the first massively produced coin that could be used within other Kingdoms. The metals used were pure and regulated to an extreme, the minting was similarly regulated, and the distribution was widely seen as a good idea. It was later adopted by both the Kingdom of Gehen and the United Houses of Niruk .
