Panwan

One of the five tribes that ventured out from the desert and made their way North. One of the three tribes that remained on the central continent, choosing instead to head Northern along the coast of the Enchanted Crossing. The Peoples of Panwan gained their name from a valley of immense natural abundance in rich soil and wild livestock roaming the lands. These people adopted lands far more mountainous and eventaully founded the Capital of Equinroth.

Art & Architecture

Architecture: The mountains that the Panwan people chose to call home were typically lush in agricultural possiblities and rather lacking in usable wood for sturdy housing. Stone was plentiful and eventaully created a mixture of implementing natural enviormental safeties and stone designs. Columns, arches, and intricate figures were made to show off the stone work prowess of the crafters. Homes were often kept distant as available land in the mountains was sparse, keeps and castles were typically placed in these places and villages and towns kept to the lower valleys.

Art: The Pre-Empire works of art often showed Craftsmen and farmers challenging near god-like figures and claiming bounties of good harvest or constructing homes worthy of their celestial nature. Emphasis was put on capturing the intricate designs and details that stonework could contain, and similar was given to representing the length of fields and pens of livestock contained. During Imperial reign the people of Panwan took on a larger Military role and their art began to show brilliant Generals and commanders facing off against insurmountable armies. Additionally the profession of Trader began to show up as a mysterious and intrersting character of the traveler with amazing wares.
