Sherriff Reynulf Ithobar
Reynulf has short and curly brown hair and deep brown eyes. His height just tops six-feet and he is toned and muscled. He moves with the grace of a skilled warrior. During the day, he can be seen around Hillsboro, checking on his men. During this time, he is always in plate armor, with his shield strapped across his back. His longsword ready and waiting on his belt. In the evening, he can often be found at Lucky Landon's sans armor, usually with his partner Maleon. Here he seems much more relaxed and casual.

Personal history
Reynulf grew up in Hillsboro, although the village was even smaller than it is now. He learned woodcraft and stealth from his father Halmed, an experienced hunter and tracker of the hills. Wanting something more for himself, Reynulf joined the local militia and trained himself in swordplay while perfecting his skills as a warrior. About ten years ago, Reynulf met up with an intense young man named Maleon - who had a vision of clearing the hills of brigands and humanoids. The two became fast friends and eventually lovers. They soon gathered like-minded companions. Reynulf convinced his childhood friend, Varona, now an aspiring cleric of the Sun Fane in Brineven, to join their quest and they were soon joined by Odvar and Mederei.
With Maleon's leadership, they started to make good on his promise and cleared out many nests of bandits and humanoid lairs. Soon everyone was calling the group Brineven's Badgers (a name Maleon spread). About four years ago, they heard of a large force of bandits drawing together to wage war on Hillsboro. The Badgers fell into the trap, but the bandits were no match for the seasoned adventurers. Soon every bandit not dead was fleeing. After some careful investigations and interrogations, they learned that the mastermind of the attack, a rageborn female named Smigal Redhand escaped in the chaos.
Maleon was made Mayor of Hillsboro for their success and Reynulf was named Sherriff of the Korlon Hills.
Sexuality
Reynulf spent years questioning himself. He was pledged at a young age to Varona. Maleon brought something out in him that he couldn't deny. He is intensely devoted to his lover.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Reynulf the fighter is Lawful Good. He is more reserved than Maleon, and very protective of his partner. He will not risk his life nor become involved in foolish adventures. Reynulf leads a squad of men-at-arms, and has been appointed as the overall commander of the village troops as well.
