The Creator

When the three great threats of The Prophecy were revealed to some, the soon-to-be founder of The Creation Project, now only known as The Creator, rolled up their sleeves. They were a genius in the fields of genetics, biotechnology, and bioengineering. They didn't care for the conceptual nature of Spirits or not-yet material parasitic Lords. Instead, they focused their sight on the giant, slumbering Beasts.
Through some of the military experiments involving the explosives and the knowledge contained within The Prophecy, it was quickly discovered that when sleeping, Beasts are practically unkillable. All the energy they have stored within their bodies is being converted into a healing factor capable of out healing even the most devastating human weapons. Still, they could be wounded, and their tissues collected. And so began the experiments of The Creator.
Trying to replicate the cells of the Beasts turned out to be a very bad idea. They divided too quickly, trying to reconstruct themselves into another copy of the Beast. Before The Creator, no other scientist has managed to extract genetic material from them. Somehow, they did it.
It didn't take long for The Creator to come up with a crazy idea - inserting the sequences of the Beast's genome into a human one. It came with results. Failed ones, but that was to be expected without the right equipment. And so, they invited their friends, specialists in engineering and robotics, to create the Growth Chambers. And soon, the first of The Created were "born".

The Creation Project

Thanks to their first success, The Creator's team and funds started to grow. Soon, they founded The Creation Project. But at some time, The Creator got sick. The ruling committees took over controlling the business and nothing was heard about The Creator since then, even when one of the Created started hunting down the current leaders of the organization. The Creator didn't really like the new direction The Creation Project was heading. It was founded to face the threat of the Beasts and not as a factory for the supernatural mercenaries.

Seems like nothing is known about The Creator. Their name, appearance, and gender are all mysteries. According to some estimates, they would have been around 90 years old when the Extinction started, but no one even knows if they were still alive by then.
