Spear of Metal is the only known weapon created by
Creators of the Prophecy made out of the
core concept of the
Lord they have faced, the
Lord of Metal.
Appearance
The Spear of Metal is made out of a single piece of material, similar in appearance to metal. Both its blade and its haft look as if they were partially melted, making them look like a candle. This weird construction doesn't impact its structure in any way. The blade is slightly rounded near the base and has leaf-like ribbing on its sides.
Properties
The spear can take on the appearance and properties of all naturally existing metals. Its owner can change this at will. If they don't know the metal but wish for a certain property, like a high melting point or conductivity of the metal, the spear will change itself into a metal that best suits said property.
As long as there is some kind of metal deposit underground, the Spear of Metal can forcefully pull it to the surface in the form of sharp spikes that can be used during combat. Said spikes retract back to their original position whenever they are damaged, so while this property can be used to find metal deposits, it won't help whit extracting them from the ground.
Last location
The last known location of the spear, back before the
Extinction, was the headquarters of
The Faceless organization. The spear was placed close to the entrance, so anyone entering the building could see it.
No owner
The spear shows its properties only to the one who owns it. Its real owner was alive over 5000 years ago. Its properties are only known thanks to some passages of
The Prophecy mentioning it, and the concept of the spear being visible to the
Faceless Ones.
I wonder if there's a way to make the spear choose a new owner
