Yellow Bones

The Ancient Work Animal Robot.

Though a rare sight, some are lucky enough to have under their command a mindless robotic servant. One that can perform many complex tasks simply with verbal commands. These machines only need a good shock of Electrokinesis from time to time to stay productive.

Basic Information

Anatomy

The black muscle of this creature connects to a metal framework surrounding its body. This is the defining feature of the Yellow Bones. However, their shape and size can vary greatly from bipedal ones without heads to great beasts of burden, without heads.
A lack of a head is another primary characteristic of Yellow Bones. Instead of a head, the species possess several eyestalks that sprout from the main body ending in small tubes that work similarly to cameras. Due to these specific traits of the Yellow Bones, they are exceptionally durable.

Genetics and Reproduction

The secrets to their production have long since been lost and as non-living creatures, the Yellow Bones can't self replicate. Not that they are sad about it.

Domestication

While it is clear that the Yellow Bones were once constructed to serve as a labor force during the Forgotten Era, many are still around performing their old jobs dutifully. Often they are hostile to Awoken and attack on sight. However, some are found in a shutdown or inactive state till they are charged up and given a command. It is these Yellow Bones that fall into the hands of Awoken, and work as dedicated labor animals and servants. While they have no personality, feelings, or sentients, many grow to care for their Yellow Bones as more than just tools.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Awoken who have Yellow Bones have noticed that they are capable of working in the darkest of conditions. Darkness simply has no effect on their ability to see.
