The Known Universe

The Known Multiverse is the entire realm where material objects and creatures, magical effects and intelligence as we know it can exist. Conceptually, it can be thought of as a sphere filled with a cloudy, mostly empty phenomenon known as Voidspace. Scattered about the inner surface of this sphere are the material, arcane and sometimes esoteric realms known as Planes. It is on these planes that life as we know it exists.

Outside of the sphere is little understood. Throughout most of the Multiverse's Cycle there has been a dark, spotted nothingness occasionally called Pandæmonium. But during brief periods, it manifests a jittering, roiling chaos known varyingly as Helal, Quick Entropus or Kos.
