Pitravat

Pitravat is a moderate-sized, arctic-mountainous plane and one of the eight major planes of the Eridún Crux. It is the namesake of the Pitravite Eighth of the Greater Eridún Crux Region (GECR).

Pitravat is home primarily to dwarves, enari, shar, duergar, svirfneblin, goliaths, rock giants, frost giants and true dragons, with a minority mixture of dozens of other Daybreak Empire member races. It is one of the primary resource centres of the Empire, rich in ore and some valuable spices, so Daybreak presence tends to be high. Historically, the giants and dragons resisted the Empire's presence most strongly, and as such have experienced punishing sanctions and losses in territory. The Black Sun's subjugation of the dragons, especially, resulted in some brief but fierce wars.

Their demonym is Pitravite.

The Flamespeakers

Pitravat is home to a widespread, interplanar monastic order called The Flamespeakers of Tong Deum. They are equal parts shaman, monk and skald, seeking full ignition of the "Soulsfire", an ultimate realization of the self. One of its most famous practitioners is the dwarven demigod of travel and skaldry on the plane of Waking Materia, Galadnock mac-Kenzie.
