Lorgain
Lorgain is a large plane located in the outer reaches of the Kolarian Eighth, relative to the plane of Kolari in the planar hub known as the Greater Eridún Crux Region (GECR). It was once one of the great cradles of Tower-Helix civilization, though largely forgotten as such. Their demonym is Lorganite.
The Great Lorganite Empire
It is mostly noteworthy for being the capital plane of the great Lorganite Empire some eight thousand years ago, the size of which may have rivaled the current Daybreak Empire, which is currently in control of about half the GECR. When the Empire was finally subdued by a desperate league of rivals, so too was the plane, and violently. Lorganite societies were sent forcefully back to a second Iron Age and activity there went quiet for millennia, its history as one of the Universe's most dominant powers forgotten until rediscovered by Daybreak archaeologists. The Kelpeater Empire
A few millenia later another, smaller empire would emerge from Lorgain, this time primarily from the lands of the Humanoid Ula'thau'la far to the north, called "Kelpeaters" due to their unusual diet. The Kelpeater Empire traveled from plane to plane for decades before eventually colonizing the backwater of Waking Materia for their new civilization. Called Alanthan'aravaut, they would become one of the more powerful forces in the planar region until their destruction by the Deluge some four millennia ago. Only one small population of distant cousins remains of the Kelpeaters on Lorgain.Lorgain
