Dawnsgleam
Dawnsgleam is the ruler of the interplanar Daybreak Empire and one the most powerful True Deities in the Known Universe. At its current height, the Empire is in complete control of the core planes of the Eridún Crux and has conquered some fifty percent of the Greater Eridún Crux Region (GECR) with no sign of slowing down.
Dawnsgleam is a highly mysterious entity at the centre of a vast bureaucracy, eliminating the need to be present or visible unless it suits them, which is rare. The odd few who have been given an audience describe a slightly feminine Humanoid about nine feet tall, with skin a dark, grey-blue and long, granite-white hair. Sometimes it wears a mask of bright bronze, encircled by thousands of needles representing rays of light.
Dawnsgleam undergoes a sort of rebirth every few decades. Its appearance does not vary substantially between these incarnations but the personality does, and indeed they don't identify as the same. As such the Empire is sometimes called the Dawnsgleam Dynasty.Other Gods
Dawnsgleam considers itself the highest being in the Known Universe, and thus does not tolerate worship or even acknowledgement of the true universal gods, The Tower and the Helix. In cultures where worship of the dual overbeings is irreperably linked, Dawnsgleam paints itself as their humanoid manifestation.
The Daybreak Empire is opposed primarily by a league of interplanar demigods known as the Victorious Noontide or the Rebel Gods. Their worship is, of course, strictly forbidden. Even speaking of them as gods carries high penalties in more devout Daybreak societies.
So too are there freer societies: in some continued worship of local, planar demigods is permitted, so long as those gods bend the knee to the Empire and acknowledge the primacy of Dawnsgleam. They value open worship over shows of mere martial superiority.
