Weapons of the Gods and Great Heroes

The Relic Weapons are arguably the most powerful artifacts on Waking Materia. They are the weapons wielded by the gods of Materia and the Duskscape. In times of overwhelming importance, these weapons are sometimes bequeathed to great champions. Many of Materia's greatest heroic epics involve the wielding of a Relic Weapon.

Relic Weapons of the First Age Lichlords

• Inum'indiron'aravaut — The trident Verethragna was known to be Ina'ut's weapon in post-mortal life as well.
• Nir — Unknown. Nir was known to disdain weaponry but she practiced martial arts so perhaps a weapon that complemented this.
• Nef — Nef's Relic weapon was a tsurugi straightblade known as Vritra.
