Wellspring Spring Water

Article Contents

The Aetherial Brewing Company of the Elf-Kingdom of Faeon sells a number of different beers. They also sell exactly one non-alcoholic beverage. Named after the dragon lord Senget the Wellspring, the company markets these bottles of pure water with no frills or additives, no special magics imbued within the water. No dueterium or heavy water. No special effects other than satisfying thirst. It's just very pure water.

Because of the use of expansion glass that makes the bottles carry ten times the normal amount, this product is quite popular with travellers. They can carry around 3 days worth of water with the space and weight of one. Many local and smaller apothecary companies tend to use this product in their potion making, as a shortcut to the process of purifying water on their own.

The company also sells progressively larger containers of this water going from 10 liter to 1,000 liters, which will hold 100 to 10,000 liters. The 1,000 liter containers are wooden casks lined with expansion glass.

  • Salika's Knowledge #74
"The Aetherial Brewing Company is located in a very arid part of Faeon. Thanks to the corrupting magics of Oliark the Arcane, a long dead dragon lord, some areas of the country are like a desert that never recieves rain. How then does this company get enough water to make their brews, and sell so much extra on the side?

"Scales of Senget are the answer of course! These gigantic pieces of aethercite produce thousands of gallons of water each day, and the Aetherial Brewing Company are rumored to be sitting on at least ten of them. Not a single drop of water leaves the company's factory building unless it is in a bottle. This does mean the entire surrounding area is a barren wasteland, but it was kind of like that already!"
