Whipper Whay
Whipper Whay, a common silver fish in rivers and lakes with a nasty attitude. With razor sharp scales designed to slash through the thickest of skin and a hunger for warm blooded creatures, this aquatic animal is nothing t be taken lightly.
Shame what happened to the last adventurer that went there... Oh you don't know? Well, from what I heard, they tried crossing the broken bridge and fell into the river. Locals didn't find a body, just a pile of bones tangled in rags and armour. Every inch of flesh stripped away from their body. Real shame indeed. Still couldn't have been that good of a hero if they died to a swarm of Whipper Whay.
Appearance:
Typically found in small swarms ranging from six to twenty, these 10 inch silvery fish have streamlined bodies to flow through under currents with incredible speeds and backward bent scales as sharp as a blade to deal with any creature that invades its personal space. With rows of teeth protruding from its bottom jaw to tear through the remains of its victims, these tiny terrors are something many people avoid where possible. Using blood stained bait to deter them when needing to wade through rivers.Actions:
Slash: Darting through the water, the Whipper Whay gets as close as it can to the target's skin. Deals 1d4 melee damage, chance to cause 'bleed' condition upon a critical roll. *Full ruleset can be found at TG20 - Homebrew RulesTG20 Statblock:
