The Laws of Veron
This world is mirrored by another realm, the void, which contains a sea of energy populated by a diverse array of luminescent creatures. From this void, some enlightened individuals can draw power with which they can influence the world around them. This is known as Psionics. Some more enlightened individuals can transform into the void, becoming beings of pure energy themselves. Some even become skilled enough to bring these forms back into the physical realm, where they can influence and guide others to follow the same path.
Cosmology
Veron speicifcally was built by Elders, species that, for one reason or another, never achieved the enlightenment required to ascend. As such, they constantly roamed the galaxy, always imporving their technology, but never themselves. Veron was constructed and terraformed by an Elder Worldship and subsequently saved from destruction by The Forgotten God.
Principal Geography & Features
There is a vast underground network of tunnels and technology built by the Elders which occasionally connects with the surface world.
