Horrors, abominations and demons with mutant thralls seek to drive the planes closer once again, so they may enter the mortal realm and consume the magic and life rich world of Venya as they once did, before being eternally denied their prize.
Venya contains new heroes and abilities suited to a corrupt world. Ones that possesses powers pulled from other planes of existence. With these powers you will be able to travel the continents, learn the ancient history of the land and if you survive, prevent the planes from once again colliding entirely. Whether stopping that outcome requires you to travel into into the ether or remain in the mortal realm remains to be seen, but the artefacts scattered, buried and lost from the once great kingdom of Famala may provide you with powers you require, or push a shattered world over the edge into the cosmic abyss that awaits.
The shattered world of Venya also possesses an additional system that can be used or ignored to apply class specific corruption for decisions made, putting your characters closer to peril, mutation, possession and total loss of control with each decision. The risk of becoming the monsters you hunt, or worse, is another thing to fear in this world.
