Rodrigo Allio
Rodrigo Allio was an infamous highwayman who operated in the eastern part of the Tarran Kingdom, a region today known as the Tarran League. He was able to avoid capture for about 30 years.
There will never be another highwayman like Rodrigo Allio. He was the best. Ruthless, but also quite idealistic. All his life he wanted to get revenge for his sister
Personal history
Rodrigo was born in south-east Tarra as the oldest son of a whaler. As his father was away on the sea for long periods of time, Rodrigo had to help his mother around the house and take care of his sister from a very young age. When Rodrigo was 15 years old, his father died when his ship sunk during a storm. As a result, the family was left without a source of income. Rodrigo's mother found a job at a weaving workshop, but it was barely enough to make ends meet, so Rodrigo had to work too. He managed to find a job as a dockworker.
Another turning point in Rodrigo's life was when he was 20 years old. Then, his sister, who was 16 at the time, was brutally murdered. After that, his mother was never the same. She secluded herself from people and stopped working. Not much later they lost their house and had to live on the streets begging for any money or food. Rodrigo was angry. He swore that he would find his sister's killers and make them pay.
Rodrigo wasn't able to find his sisters killers his whole life. A couple of years after his sister's death he met a group of people who called themselves protectors of the people. Rodrigo hoped that with their help he would get his revenge. Instead, he ended up just as a highwayman robbing and killing people on the Tarran tracts. As the years passed, Rodrigo moved up in the ranks of his band. In the year 1835 AF he became its leader after killing his predecessor.
Rodrigo was caught by Tarran League's police near the end of 1859 AF. He was lured into an ambush with a letter with false information about his sister's killers. When Rodrigo arrived at the arranged spot, he was surrounded and outnumbered. He was arrested and after a couple of months, he was hanged in Castello Boia
Employment
His only legal job was as a dockworker. He took it after his father's death to help his mother sustain the family. He lost it around the same time his sister was killed. Mechanized harbour cranes were becoming much better and the harbourmaster decided to reduce the number of workers. After that Rodrigo lived by what he could find or steal.
Mental Trauma
Rodrigo had two big traumas in his life. These were the death of his father and the murder of his sister. The first one just made him angry, while the second one gave him a purpose. All his life all Rodrigo wanted was to find his sister's killers and get revenge. Those two things took a bit of a mental toll on him. For most of his life he couldn't get close to another person. He was distant even to his friends in the band. Only a few years before the arrest did he start to understand that he could never get revenge and started to slowly open to others. He even found a woman for whom he was starting to develop feelings.
Rodrigo Allio, you are found guilty on charges of banditry, theft and murder. You are sentenced to death by hanging. May the Saviour have mercy on you
