Flameshield Institute

Public Agenda

The school was founded in memory of Erxine Flameshield who had confided in Frederick Hammerstrike that she had wished to one day take apprentices and train them to fight. She had felt that the military was too sloppy with its recruits and that a proper school of combat was needed in Vorgan .
The school holds to her ideals to this day. They are a martial institute first and foremost. While providing a history of the Erritian Empire and its military conflicts, they teach very little of the scholarly subjects besides basic arithmetic and how to read. The rest of the school is dedicated to teaching fighting forms and proper combat tactics. All of Vorgan's town guard has been trained here since The Great Plague.
