Personal history
Nobody knows exactly where Vearxindaron came from originally, but one day he appeared in the mountains to North-East of Vorgan. The dragon began terrorizing the towns and mining colonies in the nearby regions, leaving survivors in his wake, badly burnt and maimed for life, to tell his demands of gold a treasure for him to stop attacking. Each year he would demand larger and larger sums of gold and gems from Vorgan, lest he begins burning their towns to the ground again. This continued for some ten years until finally, the regent had enough. He dispatched a team of the realms most capable fighters to slay the dragon. Such attempts had been made before to no avail, but not with people of the caliber sent this time.
The group found the dragon sleeping atop a horde of stolen treasure deep inside a cave in the mountains. They attempted to stealthily approach but found the gold coins beneath their feet gave them away and woke the terror. Seeing their armor and weapons Vearxindaron bellowed at them. They began a perilous fight against the Vearxindaron, dodging huge razor-sharp claws and massive jaws that could crush a boulder in two. As they closed in the dragon, it drew in a massive gasp and let loose a torrent of flame at the group. Erxine Flameshield planted her tower shield and held strong against the blaze, providing a small amount of cover for the rest, burning alive against the metal as it heated and began to deform. As Vearxindaron finished exhaling the deadly inferno, Frederick Hammerstrike charged forth bringing his hammer high above the dragons lowered head, and with mighty swing caved part of the skull in. Vearxindaron fell limp to the floor, defeated, a threat no more.
