Sonora Morgan-Stoker
Sonora Emiliana Morgan-Stoker (a.k.a. Sunny)
Sonora Morgan is a descendant of the first American vampire hunters. While the name "Quincey Morris" was a fabrication of Bram Stoker's imagination, the hunter he was based on, Charles Morgan, was indeed a member of the group who chased down Dracula, and died in Transylvania. However, his younger brother, Jeremiah, continued hunting, and also raised a family. Sonora is his granddaughter.
Sonora Morgan began a decorated career at the Amarillo hunter agency when she turned eighteen, and three years later met Stephen Stoker when he arrived at the agency to teach a monthlong course in PR work and was boarded at her family's ranch since both families are hunting blue bloods. The two struck up an immediate friendship and agreed to stay in touch while Stephen continued to travel and teach. Over the course of their correspondence, the two fell in love, and rather than returning to Britain after his teaching tour, Stephen transferred to Amarillo, where the two were married and raised a family of three children while continuing their families' legacies.
