Shinohikari

The Shinohikari are an ancient organized crime syndicate within Hantzu lands. They began as a nation that declared independence after the fall of the 3 Sorcerer Kings following the Great Purge of the 3rd Epoch. When their nation was conquered by a neighboring one, they devolved into a insurgent group of rebels. After extended occupation, the insurgency turned to organized crime. From there, the syndicates influence spread across borders, and grew in power and size over the course of the 4th Epoch. When the New Sovereignty was formed, the political stability, and a sudden anti-crime sentiment, lead to the fall of the syndicate. Many thought it had collapsed entirely into smaller, insignificant gangs that would eventually die out themselves. Instead, it had gone into deep hiding, and experienced a metamorphosis. The Shinohikari have returned as an order of assassins. They operate in great secret, believed to still make their home in Hantzu lands. Their distinct all white outfits (the Shinohikari Suits) make it impossible to mistake them. Many have died moments after catching a glimpse of white in their periphery. To those who fear for their life, the color white is woe.
