Dragonshead Peninsula

The Dragonshead Peninsula is a body of land jutting southwest out of the Continent of Etherionde. It's characterized by cold temperatures, with glacier at the southmost tip, and taiga or deciduous forests covering the rest. It holds a strategic importance. Most sea-trade leaving or entering the Tensun Trading Company, or through the Glittering Sea has to circumnavigate this peninsula. It's the traditional Dragonborn homeland, though many Dragonborn have been pushed out onto the Draconid Isles over the centuries.
The peninsula has a number of mountain ranges that have been found to be rich with iron and copper, and more recently large caches of Esperite, which has only served to increase the strategic importance of the landmass.
