Basic Information

Biological Traits

They are the hard working cousin to the spice worm that secretes excessive amounts of water-heavy slime to lubricate its surrounding as part of its locomotion.

Ecology and Habitats

Grey worms can most typically be found navigating the woods' extensive root system. Suspiciously so.   It can be suggested that the worms play some crucial role in the blood woods' filtering the sea soaked soil for its own consumption.   The grey worms are the few that can survive the soil saturated with salt from the seasonal salt storms. For all intensive purposes, the worms should have shrivel up and died.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Loads of fish remains rot everywhere when the salt storm sweep in from the sea and depoist its contents over the marshes.   It helps to add lots for them to eat in the soil. And it is only through their incredible salt tolerance that they can survive long enough to even feed.
