Forest of Serenity

The Forest of Serenity is a large woodland area to the north-west of Lake Arla and Serenal. The forest covers roughly 900 square miles of territory.
Within the forest is the elven capital city of Seorsa'Emel, as well as the outlying settlements of Taure'Palis and Taure'Tirmo.

Geography

Finding its roots at the southern tip of the Cliffkeep Mountains, the forest stretches around 95 miles to the south-south-west, touching Lake Arla in the south-east, the Aeglir Mountains in the west, and the border with The Kingdom of Ashalla in the south-west.
Bisecting the forest is the Calen River; a tributary of the Lifeblood River, which it joins after exiting the forest, just north of Lake Arla. The river runs from the small Aeglir Mountain range which sits on the forest's western edge.
The forest itself is very old, and in many places overgrown, although not impassable by determined travellers.
