Enfys Gynn (en-fiss geen)

Ghost of Tambuxia

Female barbarian from Tambuxic. She showed herself shrewd in combat. Tenacious beyond words, Enfys often threw herself into almost impossible situations if she felt inside that it were correct. While this did earn the ire of her superiors, she did receive accolades for her reckless courage as well.   A quiet confidence burned inside her. She could carry as much as any man in her service and often was found drinking them under the table or wrestling their arms for money. She was well respected even by the enemy. She had a charismatic personality. Many felt it difficult to not feel one way or the other about her, but most felt positive, and a little intimidated.   Enfys despised the enemy, whoever it was. When against Sylvain Gilaxsten before she went under his rule, she is said to have put fear into his heart. She often in battle led the charge and threw herself into the most dangerous spots to unleash her battle fury. This caught the eye of Sylvain who immediately wanted her in his army. After weeks of negotiating, she agreed to a duel with his champion.   After defeating him, she agreed to help Sylvain in his endeavors to control all of the country under one rule. She saw this as justice and knew to support him for his keen mind and kind heart. Some say during this time she fell in love with him, it was unrequited. She wrote in her journal, "If I cannot be his wife, I will be his champion."   She served him faithfully and was rewarded with her own house . She married a man and they fathered many children. She passed away a great hero. Her death upset the old, frail king, Sylvain. He erected a statue in her honor in the square in front of her great house.
