Cosmological Views
The Eight Spheres have always been and always are going to be. Each contributes to the other, and each keeps the other in check. Imbalances occur but do not remain. The Eight Spheres exist across all time and space, and inside all things. Thus, an individual might contain all Eight Spheres but express only two or three of them. The others are said to be 'Restrained'. Ideally all individuals should strive for the Eight Spheres to be equally expressed - at which point the individual will unite their energy with the cosmic Spheres and begin a new journey in a new realm.
The spheres are not passive, nor sentient. They exist and if restrained or ignored tend to build up negative energy that will one day be expressed through some means. Spheres that are 'unbound' - in other words spheres that are encouraged or actively cherished tend to expand until they consume the worshiper completely. An unbound worshiper is powerful, but also blinded to the other spheres and therefore will always feel as if they are lacking something.
