Formation of the Utherios Hegemony

Founding

The Hegemony was founded by three mothers - known as the Great Sacrifice. It brought into alignment the great city states that now form the Hegemony.

Three mothers of three sons watched in horror as their children killed one another in yet another inter-city state war. In protect the three mothers summoned the leadership of the great cities to a site now lost to history where upon they set themselves on fire using Gnomish Greenflame and to this day remain burning alive as a living testimony to the atrocity of war. Their great sacrifice was so shocking that the leaders of the cities united under a single banner - the banner of the Hegemony of Utherios.
