Order of the Archive

The Order of the Archive is a semi-secret organization dedicated to preserving all kinds of knowledge in existance. Within their vast repositories of knowledge, tomes, treatises, chronicles, journals and records encompassing all manner of disciplines, fields of study and subjects of interest, are closely guarded and monitored. Boundless Volumes on historical lore, song lyrics, poetry, recipies, research papers, prophesies and much more, can be found in their collections.faction described by Talis as including the most powerful magic users in the The Imperial Qyzharate of Duryad. The Order operates several libraries, including the Scrollsearch Recerve in Ternosear, the Scribesoul Vault in Z'ar Ternosear, and several Caerulean Archives on the continent of Naghron. These libraries are offered a degree of governmental protection. Some members of the Archive are monks, while others are knowledge clerics of knowledge, bards, or fighters. Many folks are just standard researchers, caretakers, and historians.
Those not allied with the Order seem wary of their growing power. The Order and The Decendants are often at odds with each other. Those allied with the Order, such as Talis, claim that they keep the Crown in check and prevent abuses of power. Their members have allegedly promoted learning in the middle to lower classes in Merdun and Ternosear.
Some members of the Order, both of martial and arcane prowess, are involved in law enforcement of the The Imperial Qyzharate of Duryad, serving as investigators, interrogators and executioners. Order members are also involved in protecting the Qyzharate against foreign invasions. The Caerulean Reserve A grand dome of blue, polished stone, the Caerulean Reserve is a well-fortified library in Ternosear that is organized, overseen, and guarded by an order of monks in worship to goddess of knowledge, prophecy, secrets strategy and skill. The Reserve's collection of knowledge is so vast that individuals travel from all over the world to study here. A monk is assigned to every person that seeks entry, both as a guide and as a security escort.
