The Nympharum Concord

The Nympharum Concord is a small, exotic confederation of the city-states along the Crimson Gulf and settlements in the northwestern part of Naghron. It lay just east of Ancient Talonto, and north of the militaristic empire of Duryad. It was famous for beautiful weather, beautiful people, cut-throat merchants, abbundance of crime and the richest wine-producing region in the world.   The original Dryadalis Dominion of Delight predates the Second Era and the fall of The Samarid Empire and was founded by some of the first elves to set foot on Urbûn. They settled all of the forest that at the time covered almost all of northern Naghron except for the Thrakiot Archipelago before it became deforested.   But many invasions and disasters have led to the bulk remnant of the forest to be less than a tenth of its original size. The kingdom had also been through a lot. It was split into three around as the elves disagreed on how to handle the human tribes encroaching and spredding across their lands. The various groups that are now allied in a loose confederation for self-defense and mutual economic prosperity.

Structure

Each Crimson Gulf city is ruled individually by a marquis who runs the merchant guilds of the city. The marquis of the cities all swear feality to the High Prince in Dralio , the capital and largest city in the Gulf.

Culture

They had a tendency to look on the eastern cultures as being short lived barbarian cultures barely being worthy of notice. This however did not stop them with trading with these nations as they are archrivals with Fionmagh.

Public Agenda

To uphold the state of order and ensure the liberty of the Confederation and all its city- states.

Ancient Rivalry

The The Crowned Chiefdom sees themselves as superior to the elven nation of the Nympharum Concord. Tensions linger from due to frequent land disputes and bloddy skirmishes in the past. The traditionally elven Concord feel that Fionmagh is encroaching on what is theirs, while Fionmagh thinks Nympharum is a perfect example of how elves can't be negotiated with.
