The Crafty
Appointment
Must have been a member of the Specialist's Guild and in good standing within the community. Must be an adult Kobold. The Crafty is chosen from within the Specialist's Guild by a general vote of the guild members.
Duties
Beyond the duties of their profession, they are responsible for development and research in a kobold tribe. They decide which areas are given the resources and funding needed to further develop the craft. They ensure that young Kobolds are paired with specialist Kobolds in order to learn skills in crafting. They are also responsible for ensuring that all of the various endeavors that the Kobolds are engaged in are actually benefitting the tribe.
Benefits
They are afforded 2 shares of the village wealth when ever goods are being divided through out the village.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
Those within the Advisor position or the Chieftain can challenge the Crafty, but they are required to prove to the adults of the village that the Crafty has not been working in the tribe's best interest. The adults of the village then decide if the Crafty is worthy to continue their service. If it is decided that they are not, they are killed.
