The Common Tongue

The most common language in Unorrea, hence it's name, the common tongue actually represents several different languages which have formed over generations of vast differences between the various corners of the world.

A Note on Common

Common in DnD is basically whatever language you are playing the game in. In Unorrea, common is a little different when it comes to the meta of the setting. As you will come to find out, the Common language is actualy half a dozen different real world languages, and when a Player Character in Unorrea knows Common, it is actually assumed that they are fluent and literate in all the different dialects of common at the same time. So a character can speak common in both Amaranthine and Buwan, they are in truth speaking two different languages.

The Common Tongue, in its various dialects, is spoken throughout the world and is, thanks to the The Shayador Empire is generally considered the trade language throughout the world.
