Pandemonium Mountains

The Pandemonium Mountain range is a relatively short, but towering, range of mountains located in the heart of the Kazus Wastes. The Mountains are have been the object of many failed expeditions into the Wastes for the natural resources the mountains possess.

Geography

The mountain range is located on a rather extensive plateau of frozen tundra in the Kazus Wastes. In fact, the mountains are the only point of elevation that one can see from the wastes and due largely to their immeasurable heights they can be seen from almost any distance and any location within.

Fauna & Flora

None, the region is called the Wastes for a reason. The only creatures that survive here are monsters of the toughest variety, and many of them seem to naturally stay away from the mountain range.

Natural Resources

The mountains are the sole source of the black and twisted stone that the Fell Stones are made out of, although no one truly understands it origins or geological makeup because the location of the Fell Stones has been lost to the time and every expedition to the mountain range has ended in failure and death.
The dwarves of the Frost Mountains have long believed that the mountains are rich with platinum and other precious metals. This belief, though not confirmed in any sense of the word, is what has inspired the aforementioned doomed expeditions to the mountains.
