Personal history

Ariana used to be the wife of a wealthy merchant living in the Arsenal district. Although they were once in love, she grew very unpleasant in her later years, putting on massive amounts of weight, being very belligerent to her husband inappropriate and crude in from of clients and a constant drunk. It would publicly look bad if he divorced her, so instead they simply separated. He pays for her accommodations and gives her a monthly stipend to simply stay away.
