Ilyrian Circus Food

Ilyrian Circus food is famous around the United Britannia and Hibernia and the world. Found at the Circus of Wonders, Ilyrian Circus food is famous for its uniqueness, flavor, and magical properties.

Example of vendors and their fares

Wonderment

Perhaps the largest of vendors, Wonderment serves what is termed as "human" (and American!) fair food, as it is a curiosity to witches. A smattering of their menu includes corn dogs, Philly cheesesteaks, fried vegetables, fried candy bars, corn-on-the-cob, elephant ears, lemonade, tacos, and ice cream.

Cordelia's

Cordelia's major draw is specialized Ergot Cakes. It also serves fried dragon scales (a jawbreaker!), recuperation potion (for a long night!), iced herb pops (that never melt), alcohol (always foamy) sausage rolls, samosas, Salaka Hair (specialty noodles that never tangle), and deep friend belladonna (in SMALL amounts, and on the down-low, as its psychedelic effects are fun but illegal).

Melania's

Melania's serves the witches' version of fair food. A portion of its menu includes stargazy pie (made with a kind of fish magically bred in Calcaria), bacon buttys (with kelpie brown sauce), Welsh rarebit (made with actual rabbit), chocolate pudding (made with witches' chocolate, which is just the right amount of sweet), blood pudding (blood from mermaids, who donate for money), jellied fish from Calcaria, and very rarely, dragon pie (dragons cannot be hunted; this can only happen if the dragon died naturally).

History

Ilyrian Circus food has been around since 345 CE: as long as the Circus has existed! Although it has certainly evolved since then, the Circus's food/drink choices are almost famous as the Circus itself and are a big draw to those that visit the Circus of Wonders.
