Adventurer's guilds

Originally three separate organizations forming in the aftermath of the Crisis of the Fey age, the adventurer's guilds were systems created to help secure the world and promote peace. Stephan would acquire the bards of Rivell to build an information network, László building transforming sections of the Paladins of Akoom to peace keepers, and Girliorth was gathering bounty hunters. Realizing they were doing the same goals the three groups joined together, creating a group of guilds that could pass problems and recruit adventures to deal with them.   This would create a group of adventures that would work together to solve issues throughout the world. A system was created to regulate what jobs groups could take. This is divide induvial and party rankings which is compared to job rankings.

Rankings

The rank an individual or party has. This is a way for other members and the guilds to quickly assess someone's capabilities. The normal way to advance is doing several adventuring jobs of a suitable rank, the job reports are then taken into account, It is possible for high ranking members of at least two ranks higher to put in a letter of recommendation to increase someone's rank or a recommendation to block to slow someone's advancement. Though only C rank and above can do such letter. A Parties starting rank unlike an induvial is the average rank of it's members upon forming.
F and E Ranks
The lowest starting ranks, these often do odd jobs around the area, and most would not consider them true adventures. It should be noted while most start at Rank F, several groups like Shifters or Isle of the lost adventurers start at rank E.
D Rank
Considered the first true adventuring rank, an adventurer of this rank is also expected to follow the code of conduct.
C and B Rank
C rank adventurers are allowed to join specific guilds, giving them access to that groups special jobs and assets. C rank adventurers also tend to travel more as fewer jobs are suitable. Obviously the higher ranks gain more prestige.
A Rank
Considered by most the final achievable rank, A Ranks are also the only group allowed to lead coalition parties.
S Rank
Also called God or Legendary Rank, S Ranks only appear in world shattering events, or the ability to deal with some other massive threat.

Adventuring Jobs

Each guild hall has a job board and desk were members can either start or hand in jobs. There are several types and classifications. While it is suggest members only take jobs one either side of their rank, they can take any job the meet the requirement for. A full party for taking on jobs is four to six, though some choose to solo a Job it is advised the job is two Ranks below the adventurers.

Job Classification

A job's rank classification can be from F to S depending on various factors, each having restrictions on what is required to take on the mission. It should be noted several jobs might have other restricts based on the job itself. All these need to be taken into consideration, for instance any job that requires a party to go into the Mire of lost souls jumps to a B in the light months and A in the Dark.
  • Location: Not only how dangerous the area of the quest is but how easy is it to get to, Rank F's are normally within the same city with Rank S would be Voiddoll.
  • Complexity: How many investigative, information gathering, or moving parts, Rank F would have no investigation requirements while an S is likely to have have puzzles or large mystery.
  • Danger: How dangerous is the quest on it's own merit. Rank F would have little to no threat attached to the quest itself, while S would be taking on an Arch Lich or Ancient beast. It should also be noted that an S+ rank can be assigned to this category, indicating either an Ancient primal beasts, or multiple S rank threats.

Types

The five types of Jobs are.
  • Errand: The easiest type, these normally just require the delivery of something or escorting a person. They rarely go above D Rank and is the only type of F Rank Job.
  • Gathering: Similar to errands, however these normally take place in the wilderness and so normally have a higher ranking.
  • Bounty: The hunting and either capture or killing of something or things. The guarantee of combat means most are at least C Rank
  • Investigation: Missions based around solving a mystery or finding out information.
  • Project: The rarest type of job, this is longer missions that resolve around working with none adventures to achieve a goal.
