The
Okeri are cat people who are cautious of all of the other races for good reasons. The
Kastal is an ethnic group of the Okeri that has gone through a lot of oppression at the hands of the
Black Wing Flight Shifter Dragons in
Knomm Grähi the region at the foot of
The Waves.
Some archeologists believe that the Kastal were either living in the Waves before the Dragons and the
Miylian Elder subgroup of
Nuossa Nualestota. The Okeri were enslaved by these people and used for labor as miners and craftsmen for their captures.
They were able to escape but most avoid the Black Dragons because of the old wounds and feelings of helplessness. It is also believed among the Kastal that some of them are still enslaved on
Ell Brich the realm of
Qaydith the God of Slaves but since it is mythical there is no proof that is the case.
